Dustless Sanding – No Mess and No Moving Out
We use the Bona Atomic Dust Containment System (DCS) with all of our wood floor installations. All airborne dust is trapped before it can spread throughout your home or business. Then it is transported to the Atomic DCS trailer outside. No dust in your home, no dust in the ductwork to fly around later, and no dust to ruin your perfect finish. Did you know that dust from hardwoods (deciduous trees that lose their leaves) is considered a Group I carcinogen, a substance known to cause head, neck, and lung cancer in humans?
The BONA system reduces airborne dust by 99.8% – the only dust left in your home is what’s already there. Whether we’re refinishing an existing wood floor or installing a brand new one, dust is not an issue. Not only is it great for the customer, but it saves us time and money. There’s no need to tape off rooms and there’s no time wasted cleaning up that mess. It’s really the only way to go.

Wood Floor Finishing without the Fumes
Our multi-step staining & refinishing process is also easy to live with. After we carefully apply the stain and it dries, we finish the floor with several coats of an environmentally safe, durable, and quick-drying topcoat. In fact, OSHA classifies finishes as Class 1, 2, or 3 with 3 being the safest, and our water-based finish is a Class 3 finish. There are no strong fumes or VOCs (volatile organic compounds) to breathe. And talk about quick-drying, you can walk on your new floor (with stocking feet) two to three hours after the finish is applied. That’s fast.
