Steve Brattin was just 17 years old when he started laying hardwood floors with a simple vision: do things the right way, every time.
Since 2003, that commitment carried SVB from small beginnings to becoming Kansas City’s premier wood flooring company, trusted by homeowners, designers, and builders alike. Today, Steve also serves as Chairman of the National Wood Flooring Association, bringing decades of expertise and leadership to both clients and the industry.
Even our name reflects our roots: SVB stands for Steve, Vittoria, and sons Vito and Steven- a reminder that family, integrity, and legacy are at the heart of everything we do.
