In this photo to the right, you see an example of customized wood floor that was created by SVB for a home in Olathe. We won the Wood Floor of the Year award from the NWFA (National Wood Flooring Association) in 2009. We were the first ever Kansas City contractor to win a national award for wood floor design and installation. The diamond shaped, geometric pattern consisted of over 2300 individual pieces of quarter-sawn red oak, maple and walnut woods.
